Based out of Shelton, Connecticut, USA, Alden HD Event Solutions, LLC d.b.a. Alden Image (“Alden”) is an in-person and virtual event productions company that also specializes in UX/UI design research.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Media
If you upload images to an Alden website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
Alden users contact forms as a simplified email application. When you submit private data via a contact form, Alden websites email this private data to an authorized Alden recipient using our email system.
Cookies
If you post content or leave a comment on our site you accept Alden’s use of and storage of cookies, which Alden uses to enhance your user experience and is sometimes required for use of certain online websites. These cookies will last for no longer than one year.
If you have an account and you log in to an Alden website, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and preferences. Login cookies last for up to 30-days, and preferences cookies last for up to a year. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or post content, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the content you just edited or posted. It expires within 30-days.

Content on Alden websites may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. Alden purges all private data from online access within 30-days from collection, unless the owner of the private data requests that Alden store it for a longer period of time on a project-by-project basis.

How we protect your data and what data breach procedures we have in place
Alden has industry standard cyber-security measures in place as well as thorough data breach protocols. Furthermore, Alden mitigates data breach risk with the following risk-management approach:
- Data Isolation: Each project for each client is hosted on an independent server, so if a data breach did occur, it could be limited to the compromised project server’s data only.
- Encryption: All user data is encrypted before being stored, making exploitation of compromised data less likely.
- Ephemeral: Data is purged from online access within 30-days of last use, reducing efficacy of some scanning or brute-force attack vectors.

What third parties we receive data from
Alden does not receive or collect user data from any external or third-parties without the prior approval of each client and on a project-by-project basis.

Additional information
Alden protects all personal data provided by clients, customers, event participants, or online users with the following 3-part approach:
- Minimize Exposure: First and foremost, Alden minimizes any private or personally identifiable information that we process or store, reducing exposure. And Alden never stores personal financial information. And finally, the generally small amount of personal and/or confidential data that Alden might handle is purged from online access within 30-days of use, if not sooner.
- Data Security: Alden provides thorough cyber-security for the collection, transmission, and storage of personal and/or confidential data including, but not limited to: TLS/SSL encrypted transitions, username and password/code access controls, and extensive logging.
- Infrastructure: Alden only utilizes security-certified Azure cloud infrastructures and related tools and avoids using higher perceived risk platforms such as popular collaborative or file-sharing cloud providers.
